My first classroom
I taught English in Argentina and discovered how rewarding it is to help someone gain the confidence to communicate in another language. That's where my teaching journey began.
Hi, I'm Laura. I'm a native English speaker from the UK and I've made Valencia my home. For almost 10 years, my favourite thing has been helping people feel truly comfortable speaking English.

I love the moment a student stops worrying about mistakes and just starts talking. That's the point where real progress happens — and it's what every lesson is quietly building towards.
Confidence matters more than perfection. Exams are important — and I prepare students for Cambridge B1, B2 and C1 — but the real goal is walking into a meeting, classroom or conversation and simply being yourself in English.
Every lesson is built around you: your goals, your interests, your pace and the time you actually have. Some weeks we dig into grammar; other weeks we talk about your work, your travels or your favourite series and fix things naturally as we go.
I live in Valencia, Spain, where I teach in person, and I also work with students online from all over the world. Wherever we meet, you'll get patience, honesty, encouragement and lessons you actually look forward to.

After graduating from university I moved to Valencia, Spain — and I've called it home ever since.
I started teaching children, teenagers and adults, online and in person. Over the years I specialised in Cambridge exam preparation while keeping lessons rooted in practical, real-world English.
As an Academy Coordinator I recruited and supported teachers, organised programmes and summer camps, planned timetables and helped launch new online learning initiatives. It taught me how to create great learning experiences, not just teach great lessons.
Business English, Cambridge intensives, online lessons and English summer camps — learners of every age and background. Adapting to each individual has become one of my greatest strengths.
After more than nine years of teaching, I created Skylimit English to offer lessons that are personal, practical and built around your goals. Learning English should build confidence, feel enjoyable and fit around real life.
A few of the moments that shaped the teacher I am today — from my very first classroom to Skylimit English.
